Immunization schedule and

egg collection:

Day -3 to -1	one pre-immune egg/day from one bird
Day 0	first treatment, requires 0.5ml prepared Ag
Day 7	second treatment, requires 0.5ml prepared Ag
Day 21-26	one egg/day from each bird immunized

Antigen:

Antigen needs to be at least 10-12 dalton to elicit good antibody production. Necessary antigen quantities range from 200µg to 2mg per bird.

Antigen should be prepared in PBS. The concentration can range from 400µg/ml to 4mg/ml. A total of 1ml prepared antigen is needed per bird for both treatments.
